馬英九總統過境美國波士頓之後，專機即將造訪友邦海地時，並將與海地台灣獎學金新生及留台校友會相見歡，其中包括校友會會長克羅德（Marcus Claude Boereau）。為了一圓星夢，克羅德在台灣求學時曾參加「超級偶像」，以深情演唱、高亢歌喉獲得第6名，「新不了情、你不知道的事」都是他的拿手歌，他也將在歡迎馬總統茶會上獻唱。
克羅德2008年獲得台灣獎學金後隻身赴台就讀，當時英文與中文程度幾近為零，溝通與環境適應皆有困難，當時曾心生放棄念頭，後來在老師、同學、台灣溫暖人情協助，以及自己努力下，最後以第3名畢業於淡江大學國際企業管理學系。
克羅德在台留學期間曾於2011年參加超級偶像中文歌唱比賽，以首位外國人之姿一鳴驚人，頓成學校風雲人物，也曾在2013年國慶酒會為馬總統獻唱。
克羅德回到海地後，曾在去年舉辦個人演唱會，現任海地貿工部投資便捷中心處長，企管專業及流利中文、英文都是在台留學期間學成，大舉提升台灣獎學金成效及知名度。
賽希兒（Cecile Romiette Auguste）也是海地台灣獎學金生，近期將赴台北醫學大學攻讀醫務管理碩士，希望學成後能返國貢獻所長。
